Jonah Williams is committed to the University of Alabama.

Jonah Williams is a Junior 6'5" 296lb OT/DT who plays for Folsom High School in Folsom, California.
Jonah was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and attended and competed athletically for Marist School. Due to family relocation Jonah now resides in California and plays for the Folsom Bulldogs.

In the 2014 HS football season Jonah was a part of the Div-I State Championship team, winning the state championship game with a score of 68-7, capping off a record-breaking 16-0 season in which the Bulldogs broke 3 state TD records, and 1 national TD record, allowing an average of only 10 points per game. Statistics for which Jonah and his O-Line are proud are the season average of 6.9 yds/carry rushing (ave 149.6 yds/game), 16.1 yds/completion (ave 368.6 yds/game), totaling 31 rushing TDs and 92 passing TDs. The O-Line allowed <1 sack/game and Jonah was responsible for zero sacks throughout the season. The tremendous coaching staff of the Folsom Bulldogs provided significant improvement and honing of pass blocking, run blocking, and the opportunity to learn a complex, high-tempo offensive system.

When not on the football field Jonah can be found in the weight room or track, being an avid weightlifter since 7th grade. In the Spring season, in addition to off-season football training, Jonah competes for the Folsom Track & Field team throwing shot put and discus. In 2014 track season Jonah, as a Sophomore, finished 8th at California State Track Meet in Shot Put. Season-best distances were: 59'8" shot put (2nd Nationally as Sophomore) and 171' 2 1/4" discus (10th Nationally as Sophomore). He threw 166' 6" in the discus standing (without spinning), and 61'5" in shot put his Junior Year. Training for and competing in throwing offers the mental and physical individual challenges and development which complement the skills necessary for a highly-effective Offensive Lineman. Explosiveness, precise and rapid footwork, timing, leverage, and sheer upper&lower body strength translates to excellence on the football field.
